Our Learning and Skills centre offers the First Steps Programme, aimed at the growing number of non-school attendees, The Bright Young Things Programme, aimed at those finding it difficult in a mainstream school environment who need structured support in order to gain certain GCSE qualifications and a Life Skills Course designed for any of those attending who wish to increase their experience and knowledge.

First Steps
First Steps is a programme aimed at those young people who are, for whatever reason, unable to attend mainstream schooling. The programme consists of four two hourly sessions running from Monday through Thursday and includes academic, practical and physical group work whilst addressing behavioural and personal issues.

The Bright Young Things
A programme designed specifically for young people in mainstream school who need a structured environment and delivery in order to study for and gain particular GCSE’s. Maths and English are the primary subjects studied with science as a possible extra option.

Vision-2-Learn
A new way of flexible learning online for ages 14 plus. We have initiated this program as the innovative learning environment is suitable for most learners at most levels. Vision-2-Learn enables participants to gain nationally recognised awards up to and including GCSE level.
